Active Ingredients

Niacinamide - Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) is a very stable vitamin found in foods such as avocados, peas, asparagus and sweet potatoes, which offers a wide range of well-documented topical benefits. It is a popular and widely used skin-lightening ingredient, however, its activity profile goes far beyond this. Niacinamide may enhance the efficacy of products designed for blemished skin, dry and sensitive skin or anti-wrinkle treatments.

Songyi Mushroom Extract - Found beneath the red pine trees of Japan, Songyi Mushroom (Tricholoma Matsutake) is widely used in cosmetic products throughout Asia due to its naturally effective hyperpigmentation-fighting properties. This bio-herbal extract consists of amino acids and triterpenoids which act by reducing or inhibiting the production of melanin without causing irritation or redness.

Retinol - An excellent antioxidant which protects skin against free radical damage which can cause premature ageing. Vitamin A encourages cell turnover, refining skins’ texture and encouraging skin cells to perform as youthful, healthy cells. Vitamin A has proved to be very effective in various skin care applications. Retinol, the pure alcohol form of vitamin A, is known to be the gold standard in anti-aging. It visibly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increases skin firmness and smoothness and evens out dark spots and age spots.

Vitamin C - Known for its brightening properties, Vitamin C stimulates collagen growth, the building block of skin, while clearing scars and marks. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and multi-talented active addressing almost every skin care concern from acne to UV damage.

Licorice – A potent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory that can help improve skin tone and texture, and help reduce the appearance of discolouration and pigmentation.

Alpha Beta Hydroxy Fruit Acids - A group of natural acids found in foods that are most commonly used for skin conditions. They exfoliates discoloured surface cells, and can also increase the thickness of deeper layers of skin, promoting firmness.
